Health and Safety Information in the light of Covid 19.

Our new term at Hartfield Early Education started  on 8th September.

Many of the government Covid restrictions have now been lifted but we are all aware that the virus continues to be a concern.

We are mindful of the health and safety of the families visiting our centre and will continue to provide a clean and safe environment in which children and their adults can play and learn comfortably.

We have reduced the size of our Classes and Play Sessions. We will continue to ensure the centre is well ventilated and windows open. We have good cleaning routines in place. Teachers will continue to wear face visors.

Classes are small with eight enrolled children and one accompanying adult.

Adults attending are asked to:

  •  Wait outside until we open the door 5 minutes before the class/ play session to allow us time to clean between classes

  •  Continue to wear face coverings whilst in the centre if they feel comfortable doing so.

  •  Sanitise their hands upon arrival and sanitise or wash their child’s hands if they feel comfortable doing so

  •  Ensure we have up to date contact information

  •  If another adult brings the child to class, ensure that we are given contact information for them.

  •  Stay at home if they or their children are unwell and inform Hartfield as soon as possible

Procedures and the detailed risk assessment will be regularly reviewed and updated.
